I was a Novice at Holy Spirit Abbey in the 70′s. Liked it very much in many ways. Still in touch with a few of the brothers there. Good luck on your journey.
Hi, Laura. Yes, that was quite the serendipitous weekend, wherein Linda Mitchell talked me into staying for another month!! I remember you. And if you haven’t made the connection yet, I introduced myself to you in the stairwell on the way to the Lay Cistercian luncheon with Carl McColman a few weeks ago. Peace to you, and glad you’re tuning in!
Hi Julian,
Yes, I made the connection. Linda is great. She basically told me in rather emphatic terms to begin honoring my contemplative path more singularly. I had a very interesting, beautiful, and disconcerting experience that Easter morning in church. I will always be grateful to the community there at Holy Spirit for what they give me. Peace to you too!

Yes! And, maybe… I’ll be in touch.
